Window of opportunity

Well, as it is my birthday in 9 days, I am proud to announce that I will very soon be the owner of a new Canon EOS 500D :D. With this new asset I should be submitting alot more straight photography, accompanied by a large amount of photomanipulation.
I have so much to learn, and dont know what to even do with filters... and also, loving macro shots, it pisses me off to find out I need a seperate $890 50mm lens for that..

Chances are i'll go second hand as far as new lenses, there have been 4-5 other EOS models and apparently mine will be compatible with all of the range so there is bound to be someone selling a spare lens.

Anyways, I hope to soon upload some digital manipulation intended for my TEE folio, yet according to guidelines I cant have them displayed publically untill after examinations.. so I shall do then.

Well i just started photography, but my main focus is Digital art and photomanipulation. I know a little about clothing art, such as screen printing and such; printing on fabric from a digital image.
